Shortly before moving back home from West Texas I was commissioned to build this double dog kennel.  The client and I did a lot of back-and-forth do come up with the final design.  It needed to match his furniture and hold two large hunting dogs.  He was pleased with the final result and so was I.

    • One as pictured. Would be around $1000 unfinished, $1300 painted, $1400 stained and sealed. That’s with pine as the material, oak or poplar would be much more. Also I’m currently not making furniture projects until probably October. Shipping something this size is just not worth the trouble. So unless you are near Bryan, Texas you may want to look elsewhere.

  1. Do you think you could write down the how to instructions? The videos great, but would love to be able to read it and make adjustments as needed.

    • I don’t have any plans or drawings anymore. This was a custom order specific to a client. I based the sizes off an appropriate sized commercial crate and drew up plans accordingly.

  2. I live in Florida and am interested in making one of these or having a local carpenter make one for me (probably the latter or it’ll take years to finish). Do you have any plans, or can you provide step by step instruction and materials list?
